Following are things we need to do when a new Employee joins

Leave Policy #

  1. In a year you will get 12 Paid Leaves
  2. Leave get reset Jan of every year
  3. In Jan you cannot take Paid leave
  4. Every month you work you get a leave in subsequent month

Process of Leave Application #

For leave application you need to follow these steps:

  1. Call your reporting manager and let them know of your leave
  2. If approved, a day before leave send a message on “Fafadia Tech Time Off Notification” group on Skype

Note: This process is applicable for Sick leaves as-well.

When will leave be considered a Paid leave #

  1. If you’re sick, you need to follow above mentioned process. Message or Email sent will not be considered
  2. If you’re taking casual leave: You need to get approval 48 hours before the actual leave
  3. This time intimation is not applicable for Sick leaves. When you’re sick you don’t need to intimate 48 hours in advanced.

What to do when you’re reporting manager is not picking up the call? #

If your reporting manager doesn’t pick your call and you need to inform about either Sick/Emergency leave:

  1. Send a message specifying 2 options of when Manager can call you again
  2. If the reporting manager doesn’t call within 12 hours, you will be granted Paid leave automatically
